Custom-Designed Executive-Education Programs

Bob Behn is the faculty chair of the Kennedy School's executive-education program, Driving Government Performance: Leadership Strategies that Produce Results.

He is available to conduct a customized version of this executive-education program for public agencies. This custom course is typically conducted at a center a few-hours drive from the agency's headquarters, lasts three-and-a-half days, and engages fifty of the agency's top executives.

Like the program conducted at Harvard's Kennedy School, the customized version of Driving Government Performance will focus on leadership strategies that produce results in public agencies and will be carefully tailored to reflect the specific performance challenge facing the agency. A customized program will be particularly useful for the leaders of public agencies who recognize that the need to produce visible and valuable results will continue to build and wish to prepare all of their key executives for the responsibility of ratcheting up performance.

Agency leaders interested in bringing Harvard to their agency should contact Bob Behn, faculty chair, at redsox@ksg.harvard.edu.
