Brooke "Kelsey" Jack is a Doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Development and a doctoral candidate in the Public Policy Program at Harvard's Kennedy School of GovernmentShe is interested in incentive-based conservation, with a focus on the design of incentive mechanisms to shape household decision-making related to natural resources in developing countries.  She has conducted field work on agroforestry systems in Indonesia under a payment for ecosystem services project implemented by the World Agroforestry Centre - ICRAF. Kelsey spent two years with The World Conservation Union - IUCN in Lao PDR, where she worked on issues of conservation and rural livelihoods. She has also worked at the World Resources Institute, New York University Law School Dean’s Office, and the Princeton Environmental Institute. She is a recipient of the Vicki Norberg-Bohm Fellowship (2006) and a Center for International Development Doctoral Research Grant (2006). Jack received her undergraduate degree in public and international affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
