The Global Health Student Group is an informal group of students who are interested in global health issues. It provides an opportunity for students to connect with each other and build a central source of information about global health related events and classes in the greater Boston area. The Group will invite speakers on global health related topics, and hold career information and networking events. The Group is open to graduate and undergraduate students. The Group was formed in October 2006 and is evolving its agenda. It currently has 50 members from numerous schools at Harvard. It is housed in the Sustainability Science Program at Harvard’s Center for International Development. The group is in the process of pursuing Professional Interest Council (PIC) status at the Kennedy School of Government.
