Alumni of the Rappaport Institute Public Policy Program
The
Rappaport Institute Public Policy
Fellow Program has over 50 alumni
of our program who worked at state
and local agencies throughout Greater
Boston. Our fellows have worked in
Brookline, Boston, New Bedford, and
Somerville and in the State House.
Past fellows have worked on a diverse
range of projects that include: school
reform plans, environmental risk
assessment, public-private partnerships,
community
development projects, performance-management
innovations for public services,
technical drawings for rail projects,
research
on racial bias in the juvenile justice
system, health coverage for foster
children, and reduction plans for
greenhouse gases. Beyond providing
an opportunity to participate in
public affairs, the Rappaport Fellows
have become
part of a unique community dedicated
to civic life.
Rappaport Institute Public Policy
Alumni are an interdisciplinary
community that includes not only
public-policy students from Boston-area
universities
but also law students from a similar
program being operated by the Suffolk
University Law School. The students
in both the Harvard- and Suffolk-based
programs join together for
seminars, social gatherings,
and other events.
