Greater Boston Database

The Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston and the Taubman Center for State and Local Government have compiled two databases of local economic, governmental and social indicators.

The Greater Boston database will be on-line soon and will include links and descriptions of websites that focus on data pertaining to the Greater Boston area. Topics covered will include Demographics, Economic Development, Crime, Government, Education, and Geography.

The Taubman Center for State and Local Government database includes variables that we hope you will find valuable in analyzing cities and metropolitian statistical areas (MSAs) across the United States. You can retrieve the data by city or metropolitan area and export this information to Excel, HTML, STATA or Comma Separated Values (csv).

Both datasets have been compiled from various sources by the Taubman Center for State and Local Government and the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
