Testing, Testing: School Accountability in Massachusetts and Beyond

The Rappaport Institute and the Program for Education Policy and Governance at Harvard University sponsored a conference on the topic of standardized testing in Massachusetts. on October 11, 2001. Reports presented at the conference focused on the MCAS, standardized test accountability and the impact of standardized testing on students, teachers and schools. The working paper "Testing, Testing:School Accountability in Massachusetts was also presented.

The keynote speech was presented by James Peyser, the Chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Education on The Impact of Standardized Testing on Students, Teachers and Schools.
