Dale Jorgenson, a HEEP Faculty Fellow, is the Samuel W. Morris University Professor at Harvard University. Jorgenson has conducted groundbreaking research on information technology and economic growth, energy and the environment, tax policy and investment behavior, and applied econometrics. His recent research has focused on market-based policies for air pollution control in China and the development of an Inter-temporal General Equilibrium Model of the U.S. economy, with emphasis on growth, energy, and the environment.

NEWS & PUBLICATIONS

Robert N. Stavins was chosen as a 'Friend of the Saltire Prize.' The honor was recently announced by the Scottish Government. The £10 million Saltire Prize is the largest-ever government sponsored innovation prize, aimed at advances in the field of marine renewable energy. Read more about the prize here.

Dale W. Jorgenson made a presentation on research he is conducting with former HEEP Pre-Doctoral Fellow Jing Cao and with Mun S. Ho, at the inaugural meeting of the International Advisory Board on October 17, 2008, entitled Costs and Benefits of a Carbon Policy for China.

Dale W. Jorgenson and Mun S. Ho have co-authored a feature in the September/October 2008 edition of Harvard Magazine entitled, Greening China: Market-based policies for air pollution control
