Interlibrary Loan Request

Borrowing materials not owned by Harvard

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is available to current KSG students, faculty, officers, and staff for materials that are not held by any Harvard library. ILL requests are always welcome in person, but for your convenience we are providing this form to give you the option of making requests electronically. Before requesting an item through interlibrary loan, please search HOLLIS to determine if it is available at Harvard.

To submit an ILL request, please click on the appropriate link below (KSG login required) and fill out the form. For more details on our ILL service, click the Frequently Asked Questions link.

Please allow approximately two weeks for delivery of items you request.

Borrowing materials from other Harvard Libraries

KSG faculty and staff members may also use the ILL forms to request materials that are held at certain Harvard Libraries.  These libraries are: Widener, Law School Library, Baker, Countway, Gutman, Loeb Design Library, Divinity School Library and Tozzer.  We can only request materials that are currently available.  If an item is checked out, please use the "Request" link from the "Availability" screen in the HOLLIS catalog.  Kennedy School students may use the ILL form to request materials from Countway Library.  For all other Harvard Libraries students are expected to retrieve the materials they need themselves.
