I. MISSION
The KSG Rowing Club (KSG RC) continues the Harvard tradition of excellence in rowing and oarsmanship. The heart of the club is sweep rowing for eights, but members may participate in other categories. The club offers training in competitive sweep rowing and coxing. In addition, fitness and physical training advice is also provided.
Rowing requires commitment. These demands are rewarded by camaraderie, physical fitness, mental discipline, as well as leadership and teamwork skills. KSG RC members also become part of a larger, unique community. This local community exists along the banks of the Charles River from Watertown to the Boston Marina and includes many respected community and academic clubs.
Because KSG RC is open to all students and staff at the Kennedy School, it is a rare opportunity for participants from different programs and with different backgrounds to meet and form lasting friendships.
