Campaign Dish

Sparring campaign managers. Behind-the-scenes stories. Self-reflection. For political junkies (and the general public), the latest issue of the Institute of Politics’ (IOP) campaign managers’ book is filled with all the post-presidential election commentary and analysis that they could ever dream of. The book, Campaign for President: The Managers Look at 2004, is the result of the IOP’s gathering of campaign managers, (including Mary Beth Cahill, who worked for John Kerry, above) reporters, and political observers who convene every four years at the Kennedy School following a presidential election to reflect on strategies, compare notes, and assess the key turning points (like the Howard scream and the Kerry Swift boat ads).
