Wireless Access at HKS

Wireless access is available at HKS. The map below shows the areas on the HKS campus where you can use wireless access. Access areas will continue to be added around the school. Laptops that are properly configured with a wireless network card (cards are available in the library) can connect to the Internet. The wireless card works like a regular wire connection, students will be able to browse websites, get their mail, and log into the network if they have installed Novell on their machine.

Network cards can be borrowed from the HKS library for up to 3 hours. Wireless network cards can be purchased at either TPC or Staples. There are many brands, but Netgear is an inexpensive card that works well.
