Remote Access to the HKS Network
You can access your mail and other computer files from off site. Below are links to help you do work from offsite. The links will require you to log in with your Intranet username and password
Access the Network from off-campus
Netstorage - Use the web to access your M: drive (requires Novell login and high speed access ) Netstorage is also available through the HKS Intranet under the "Network Drives" tab.
Install the Novell Client at Home - Instructions for full access to the network from home. Requires a high-speed connection.
FTP to your M Drive
IT Service supports FTP to only your personal M drive space
FTP Information
Enter the following information to connect to your M drive via FTP
- Set Host Name to ksghome.harvard.edu
- Set User id to .username.deptname.HKS (where username is your Novelllogin and deptname is your Novell Context. If you do not know your context contact your FSA).
- Enter your Netware password when prompted.
Accessing E-Mail from off-campus
Use HKS Webmail - You can log on to the HKS Intranet with this link. The intranet has a button to your webmail.
