Lotus Notes

The prefered E-Mail software for the Kennedy School is Lotus Notes. Classes that introduce Lotus Notes to HKS staff are held periodically throughout the year. The IT Calendar has a list of upcoming classes. Lotus Notes also has several databases that share information across the Kennedy School, they can be found on the Workspace section of your Notes client.

Your Lotus Mail Over the Web

You can retrieve your Lotus Notes E-Mail via the HKS Intranet as well as from your desktop at HKS (Look for the E-Mail button on the upper right-hand side of the Intranet). Any mail you open, move, or delete from the Notes Web interface (called Webmail) also opens, moves, or deletes your mail from your Notes desktop at HKS.

Lotus Notes at Home

Some Faculty/Staff prefer to have the Notes client installed on their home machine (Notes Software runs more quickly than the webmail client). You can get the Notes install disk from your FSA. Below is a link to instructions for setting up your Notes at home.
