What is a Listserv?

A Listserv is essentially a custom email group you can create to maintain contact with your students, customers, affiliates, or other groups you wish to contact on a regular basis. The Listserv site is required for large custom groups (roughly 50 or more). The Listserv sends off the emails after business hours, thus ensuring that regular business email is not slowed during the day.

You can create a new ListServ for the HKS Community by traveling to the HKS Lyris request page. Instructions for setting up your Listserv can be viewed online.

HKS Listservice

HKS IT Services provides an website, called Lyris, where members of the HKS community can create listservs for both HKS faculty, staff, and students, as well as to those outside of the HKS community. Please note that our listserv is subject to our Rules of Responsible Use.
