The multi-disciplinary nature of the nonprofits field and the stunning extensiveness of Harvard's libraries pose formidable obstacles to students and faculty desiring convenient access to the most important books and journals on philanthropy, voluntarism, nonprofits, civil society, and related topics.

To make the core literature on nonprofits more conveniently accessible, the Center has created a non-circulating reference collection at its offices at 5 Bennett Street. This collection includes current journals and periodicals, classic and newly-published monographs and edited volumes, and working papersincluding the complete Yale/Program on Non-Profit Organizations working paper and Cases in Nonprofit Governance series.

Please direct suggestions about books and periodicals that you'd like to see added to the collection to Al Mujenda. The Center welcomes donations of pertinent books and back issues of journals!
