Life After HKS

About 2,000 students have graduated from the Mason Program since it started in 1957. They are innovators and leaders in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors worldwide.

Mason Program alumni have returned to their countries to become cabinet ministers, NGO directors, editors, central back governors, chief executives, and highly competitive, senior-level government officials. Others have been elected mayor, governor or member of parliament. Still others have joined international organizations and regional development banks.  Five Mason Program alumni have become presidents of their countries.

The cameraderie that the Mason Fellows develop and enjoy during their time at Harvard Kennedy School continues long after Cambridge. As do their connections to the school.

For more specific information about career choices of recent HKS alumni, see Career Plans report.
